The PAX 2 vaporizer is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with 30% greater capacity than that of the original PAX vaporizer.

PAX 2™ Vaporizer Safety

The device is equipped with a motion sensor, which automatically sets the device to standby mode (constant 300°F temperature). Then it powers back up to the most recent temperature setting when it detects movement. The sensor shuts the device off after three minutes of idle time. Please take note that a bumpy car movement is enough to keep the device active.
